All 4 of the Met players are back fillers in this proposal. This is the usual Met/Yankee proposal. Quantity over quality.

Yes the classic filler trade of a top 30 prospect in baseball, four years control of a 25+ HR 1B/3B 25 year old, top 100 prospect SP with years of control, and a great defensive 2B with great speed that has years of control. Classic filler trade! Plus the report is that the Reds are looking for major league ready bats. So that’s 2 bats in the MLB, one in AAA that would be ready maybe even at the start of the year and they get a top 100 pitching prospect in the deal

First, you know this was an under pay proposal for Hunter Greene. Where is McLean and Benge in this proposal? If you looked at the Reds needs and how they are constructing their roster under Francona you would know why your proposal is kaput. Vientos has poor contact rates. If he is as good as you proclaim, the Mets should keep him when the Polar Bear signs elsewhere. Reds do not have a 2b need. NONE OF THESE PROSPECTS HAVE MAJOR LEAGUE READY BATS.

Interesting trade proposal but Reds really need power hitting 35+ HR everyday OF.
