5While Jose Ramirez isn't available at the moment, the Guardians are always looking to trim payroll and are in a catch 22 with him. He's kept them buoyant with his bat, they don't have enough around him. Abreu & Campbell immediately slide into the lineup with Garcia not far behind while Boston gets a star player and number 3/4 pitcher for their rotation. Cleveland would riot but this is the ONLY kind of trade they should entertain for Jose.
Ill be blunt, they aren't even listening to offers on Ramirez... Not an opinion but a literal fact. Ramirez took a paycut to stay in Cleveland... When it comes to IF he was available... A huge overpay would have to happen... Take Allen out of the deal. Campbell would have to play 3B or CF... Can he do that as an everyday player? 2B is taken long term. Then instead of Garcia and Guerrero, it would have to be Tolle and Dorian Soto. Then Cleveland would think on it and still likely say no.
Clearly you have no idea what you're talking about when it comes to Cleveland. They're the 3rd youngest team in MLB and they just won their division and made the postseason. You really think they "don't have enough around him" with this year's promotions and numerous prospects on the verge of their debuts? Cleveland doesn't have to make a single move to be a formidable team for the next 5+ yrs. Especially if Clase and Ortiz return next season. Appreciate the offer and all, but Jose is going nowhere. A deal that sends Allen to Boston for Garcia makes sense though.
They were 29th in offense in almost all the important stats. They don't have everyday production in CF, RF, SS, 2b & DH. I watch the team every day. Also, I love the feedback but "clearly you have no idea what you're talking about" is just a D way of starting a reply. Bring the constructive criticism (which you are wrong about btw) and lets all have fun day dreaming about hot stove baseball together
Don't mind BigBat, he's harmless... I'll be honest though, this deal wouldn't get Cleveland to do anything but hang up. Ramirez will not be available period... Thats just a fact...
