The Rays offload Kim and his salary, which helps them absorb the Murphy salary. They get 2 very good relievers to add to a largely pathetic bullpen. Baumann and Caminiti are far off, but very nice prospects to have in your system. Fpr the Braves, they hope Kim doesn't opt out and he becomes their SS next year, which they badly need. Taj enters their rotation and hopes his results catch up to his stuff. Willy Vazquez is fairly well thought of in the scouting community. The Braves should love their SS situation going forward after this move.
