Conforto would kill the deal completely... Cleveland would also want one of those SP arms like Stone, Shaheen or Ryan back...

I don't think he would kill the deal. They simply take back his salary for this year so they can get back some very good prospects. Sounds pretty fair to me. Why would CLE want those 3 when they have arm issues? Ferris is their top pitching prospect. This would great value for CLE.
Cleveland isn't moving either guy unless they get exactly what they want, let alone both of them. They would want another prospect back, not Conforto... Cleveland isn't afraid to snag a prospect with an arm issue especially since Ortiz could be out long term. Switch out Conforto with one of those guys, and you may get Cleveland to the table. They dont want to trade them, and also IF MLBtraderumors stated something like they did, it was other teams leaking they inquired about Clase... From my Intel, they aren't really even listening to offers on Clase...
Sounds like we’re hearing different things because he has definitely come up. Even if they’re not motivated to move them, they’re listening, and sometimes that’s all it takes.
Ill be honest... If the national media states the Guardians are doing something and it doesn't come from Cleveland, they are posting clickbait or getting second hand info from other teams. Nothing leaves the discussion room for them. Heck, not even all their staff knows when a trade happens until its already happened. At the end of the day, what i heard are the Dodgers are out of the trade discussions and that they arent listenin to offers on Clase or Smith. But the deal itself, wouldnt work... Cleveland would want more back without Conforto. If Kwan is traded it's because they want someone in house to take LF (Likely Kayfus). Plus Rushing may not catch well enough to be a catcher in Cleveland.
