Stone's shoulder injury is a problem for me. Also, the Cardinals are bringing in Freeland to do- what? These represent two of the Cardinals better trade chips. They need to make sure they count.
Yep, shoulders would be deal breakers but this is basically about Freeland & Ferris. Nado only has 2 more years, so Chaim has flexibility to throw cash into a trade next year to dump Nado if Freeland's ready. I like Ferris' stuff much more than Libby's & Stone would be a depth 5th starter. Orrrrrr, in the unlikely event someone in the new FO sees an opportunity by trading Winn, Freeland and/or Wetherholt could play SS. I would hate to have to depend on just one of them.
