1Evan Carter is the big get for the Rays, and Latz is an excellent reliever. But Bratt and Fitz-Gerald have both been having excellent years, and could end up being a couple of sleepers. The Rangers do this deal because available young controllable pitching is rarer than LH hitting outfielders. The Rays get an OF capable of playing CF who crushes RHP, with a career 136 wRC+. Find a RH bat to platoon him with.
