Decent idea. Pirates could especially use some bats in the outfield, especially with Reynolds regressing, Pham on a 1-year deal, and Suwinski and Canario being very not good in the majors. Pirates might not be too thrilled to add a guy with a .231 average and a 27.6 K% at AA, especially given their preference for high-contact guys. But he should be in the majors relatively soon, and if the power carries over to the major league level, then the Pirates have at worst a decent bench bat and at best an everyday starter.
