3Cleveland would definitely say no...
I know you’re not a fan of a Clase deal. But what kind of package do you want back? They have a surplus of bullpen, Clase’s value is probably as high as it’ll ever be, and there are other needs on the team. Hope can help the team win in 2027. The guy’s raking in the minors. I think he’s a better prospect than Chourio. Are you looking for someone that’s more MLB ready like Owen Cassie, Andrew Painter, or Alex Freeland. Or do you just not want an OF?
The last rumor actual stated they aren't listening to offers on Clase, but if he was available they have to get an MLB ready bat, that's either at CF or SS from the right side... They wanted a top 100 SP prospect plus some more... The SP prospect doesn't have to be MLB ready, but the bat has to be. Just those two alone likely wouldn't even get Clase from Cleveland. His price is going to be so high, it would almost be stupid to trade for him.
