Cunningham is a very good prospect, but I really think the Yanks would have to trade him alone to get Suarez. There are 5 contenders who need 3B help and he's the best available.

As a Yankees fan, I would like to see them blow the Diamondbacks away with much more than just a major overpay to ensure that they get these players. As a Dbacks fan, I agree on the sell of but this would be trading Gallen like selling bitcoin in 2013. I'd rather just extend a QO than to get a mid tier prospect pitcher. I agree that teams shouldn't overpay for him after the first few months this year but for 3-4 years is was Cy young claiber. Geno however, I think will fetch a pretty penny. I would hate to see him go but I think he goes to the Yankees or back to the Mariners. Also, I've said it before but I think the Dbacks get rinsed on the value of their talent on this site.
