Twins are changing ownership; they aren't going to sell off their core. If they did, they'd need a lot more & players they really need.

Its pretty evident the Falvey regime does not consider the bullpen to be a major point of emphasis in terms of committing financial resources. They like to piece it together and find bargains, develop from within. I highly doubt they consider Duran to be a long-term piece of their core .. they arent giving him 4 / 75 mil in 2 years so why not sell high.
Falvey will listen, but he won't pull the trigger unless he gets his sox blown off, (this doesn't move the needle). Like I said, because he needs to consider new ownership, Twins are still in WC race, & if he did this deal, he'll be in deeper hot water with the fanbase.
