I will be honest, Cleveland says no cause Ramirez is not available period and its extremely unlikely Williams is as well... Now, IF they were available... The overall deal isn't bad or offensive and mostly hits everything needed. Truth be told though, they would have to get two solid SP prospects back since they cannot afford to move Williams and only get one SP prospect. Cubs don't have the second SP prospect Cleveland would want.
Glad it isn’t bad or offensive. I also think Cleveland is not moving Ramirez. But certainly think this move would at least be worth a negotiating starting point if they were willing.
