There's a rumor that Mike Trout may be headed for Boston. This is an idea of a "no cash" deal. Boston gets Trout and out-for-the-season Ben Joyce, whose future is uncertain. The Angels get Trevor Story as the star name, Jordan Hicks as a high-leverage two-inning relief pitcher, and three other underwater contract guys who, along with Story, would be shopped at the deadline.

A friendly LOL, QB Kid. I'm just quantifying the feasibility of a rumor. Of course, a week ago the Devers trade was a fantasy land, and now everybody's all smiles in San Francisco...and the talent works out, with injury-prone Trout finally residing full-time at DH. Story would move to second base. But I see your point, of course. Thanks!
