2Cubs give up a lot here. A top 3 hitter right now in AAA with Johnathon Long, and another hitter who can be an immediate impactful power threat with Caissie. But there’s no room for them, and the Cubs have to be aggressive here. They’ll receive a great, young, strikeout-heavy reliever in Henriquez, along with a good 4-5 starter with control like Edward Cabrera. Cabrera hasn’t had the best ERA this year, but his underlying metrics are definitely worth looking at.
