3With Buxton and Wallner on the IL Koperniak provides depth. He can hit. Matz can fill any pitching role the Twins have.
Good thinking and Matz is becoming more valuable every day. Cards are in the same boat the Twins are in and while I like Morris, they are probably better holding onto Matz right now. He does the same thing for them and Morris would be third in line for promotion. You are right about Koperniak who earned a shot out of Spring training. Good research on your part cause the guy is way better than current stats
For the Cardinals this is not a move for this year. Morris becomes a possible replacement next year, or after the deadline when Mikolas and Fedde are gone.
