5Let’s see how the A’s fans feel about Saggese. A clear upgrade over Gorman performance wise, and Morales is immediate strength for Cardinals at Triple A. Saggese steps in immediately with a lot of runway and no pressure. He could offer a great combo with Wilson for years. His 14.8 value is very low after his initial mlb performance, but will only drop if he continues to be held back in St Louis, Cards really need the depth at triple A with two impending FA’ And prospects who can’t stay healthy. This looks like opportunity for both teams.
Down vote for the A's. The A's have been trying to home grow a potential TOR/MOR SP for a couple years and Morales has been on a tear. Saggese as a 2B isn't needed. If the A's think he can play 3B then maybe? But not for Morales.
The A's are in a horrid skid but I still think Gorman/Thomas has legs.
