Same thing... Allen makes no sense for the Angels with his control... It's Messick there or likely they won't even come to the table... Now, Genoa, Messick at least gets them to the table...

Exactly. The angels have enough back end Allen-esque guys. Arias also just doesn’t make much sense either. The package would have to be too good to be true to get Neto right now anyways
Allen is a legit MLB SP... He's better than what the Angels have... The problem is, he's in Arb next year... Angels need long term if they are trading Neto...
I agree that it would have to be an overpay so what do you have in mind? Any minor league SP is open for discussion. Genoa who is a top 100 and a prospect some have as Cleveland's #1. One of Kayfus or DeLauter might be considered for Neto, but I doubt Bazzana is available yet. How about Messick, Geonoa and one of DeLauter/Kayfus? Probably best to get a 3rd team involved in this. This scenario certainly isn't likely, but it could be an opportunity for the Angels to load up on some young, ready or close to it talent and for Cleveland to get a SS that can actually hit and help them get to the playoffs agains this season.
