3I had to add Alvarez to make the deal qualify but he's not in the deal, Arcia just got cut so Caballero can work with Allen to cover SS plus he can play anywhere to help them with versatility and speed.
So which pitcher is going to be at least as good as Pepiot in the Show - Kuehler or Waldrep? Because this trade is a hard no if the Rays aren’t very confident that at least one of these pitchers is going to develop into a decent everyday player.

This year I don't think any of the 3 make it to the rotation and shouldn't, Kuehler and Sinnard are a few years away, Waldrep was drafted less than 2 yrs ago and ATL really screwed him by rushing him to mlb the year they drafted him, I'd stick him in AAA all year and let him develop, by next year he'll be pushing for a rotation spot and I think long term he'll be better than Pepoit and Bradley. This year the rotation is full until they (hopefully) move Litell but they still have McClanahan and Boyle they have to get back in it plus I think they should stretch Orze out too, if he has a good 2nd half sell high this offseason like they should have with Springs and Litell.
