3This is a well balanced trade since Tampa has two very similar future 1st base candidates. Personally i would love to substitute Xavier Isaacs for Tre Morgan. Crooks is a very valuable piece and should be maximized by trading for a top talent. Either Morgan or Issac qualify
Crooks is the best defensive C in the Cards' system, including 4 at the ML level. He's going nowhere.
I thought the Cards had a really good tandem in Herrara and Pages and that Crooks would be more depth, Herrara looks like a really good bat, is he bad defensively cause I would think that's who they'd want as the starter long term
