More in line with recent Athletic trading practices
Down vote for the A's. Cowles doesn't help the A's and would kick someone off the 40 man roster. McCullough is hurt. I'm not sure Cassie would be entice enough to make the team part with Sears.
JP Sears is solid, but really just not what the Cubs need or even want. They have a ton of JP Sears level arms with a ton of control like Ben Brown and Jordan Wicks. They need a truly elite 1-2 starter to replace Steele.
