I don't think the Rays are looking to trade anyone this early in the season, but their season is front-loaded with home games because of the Florida weather and so far they aren't playing well at Yankee Stadium II. If they get to June with a bad record, I could see them front run the trade deadline like they did last year with Civale. They have a deep farm and don't need much throughout the System, so the draft pick is the cherry on top of this trade that gets it done in June.

The ALE is filled with a lot of imperfect teams. I won't be shocked if no team wins 90 games this year.
