The Mariners would give up a draft pick for two utility infielders requiring spots on the 40 man roster? I think they can find Gonzalez/Sogard types in their own farm system without DFAing anyone. I just don’t think Dalton Rogers justifies this trade.
Desperation brewing….Nick & Romy earn starting jobs in that lineup, I don’t think they can find Gonzalez/Sogard types in their own farm system. Red Sox probably need a PTBNL as well to push it across the finish line.
