2The whole object for trading Nado is shedding salary. This doesn't really do that.
True (Even though it still does shed 4 mil). If you reduce the cash by another 4 mil and take away the comp pick, the team saves 8 mil. I've been trying trades similar to this is because it's been rumored STL is willing to eat more money in order to get bigger returns. Additionally, MO has stated he'd like to add right handed bench bat ✅ and a veteran bullpen arm ✅ I'm not necessarily the biggest fan of this move, but I could definitely see it happening
