2There has been talk, mostly by pundits, about the Phillies still needing to address the OF situation. This would be the only way I see them making a move. They'd need to clearly upgrade the position and need to move someone off the MLB roster to do so. To upgrade from that player, they would need to add an asset like Bohm or Ranger. The proposed trade for Robert by Verduci does not thread that needle and pushes them further past the lux tax. On top of upgrading the OF, this would decrease the payroll number.
Fan of this for the Phillies. Maybe the O's could include Suarez too. Just don't see them moving Cowser. Probably Kjerstad though.
