The core of this proposal is a Nolan Arenado for Blaze Jordan proposal. That won't work: Cards fans expect more for Arenado even if Jordan is a prospect they need, but his contract is underwater and he's worth less. But this shuffles three players with bad contracts to teams where their skills are more needed. The White Sox get two excellent prospects; the Cards get the guy they need plus two high-ceiling top-ten prospects; the Red Sox get just one prospect, a gifted pitcher whose politics and Redneck attitudes may be lowering his worth to the White Sox. Justin Anderson is a minor puzzle piece tossed in to make the trade "Fair" instead of a "Slight Overpay."
