5I've been screaming for TB to get Feduccia for like 3 yrs now but unfortunately they already have 2 LH catchers on the 40 man now plus Jansen so I don't see them doing this deal but I think Feduccia would have been a great Rays type player.
Grove ended the year on IL with a shoulder injury. Rays should have no interest in him as a result.
I'm under the belief that was a phantom injury for blowing up in October. You can always replace him with other pitchers with 5+ years of control like Knack or Wrobleski.
Grove's last game was a stinker, but I don't see anything in his stats to support a phantom injury because of performance. Also, the Dodgers were hurting for pitching, and I don't think they would have ended his season without it being a true injury.
Feduccia has higher upside than those 2 catchers and has nothing more to prove in AAA. Great depth in that position is a good problem to have also.
