I don’t know what to make of Frelick. Seems like his prospect grades were grossly inflated on the hit tool and sadly were spot on with his lack of power. The combination puts him in 4th outfielder territory, and if that’s all he is, his trade value is way over valued. Bitonti is ok, but wouldn’t be my first choice of a secondary piece and of course there can be no cash in a trade with just pre-arb players and prospects, so a 3rd player would have to be added in place of the cash. Add it up and I think the Rays say no to this trade.
