Forst has said he's not trading Brent Rooker this offseason but... who cares? Getting him to change his stance will require a major trade chip, especially if one is intent on building an offer around a lower minors prospect. The A's love bloodlines, they love athleticism, they love guys who can make contact at a high rate (more walks than K's doesn't hurt), and they've been looking for a long term answer in CF. Chourio is the obvious choice. I've added Walters to balance the 40 man rosters and because I really like him. I'm not sure which Comp B is which so I took the lower valued one. I added Straw for two reasons: 1) It tilts the values to look like a standard Dave Forst trade. 2) Cleveland has been very payroll neutral with their moves and this allows them to pay for Rooker in '25. The A's, on the other hand, need to add payroll to keep the Union off their back.

Cleveland normally wouldn't put Walters or that Draft pick in a deal... But with the fact they badly need a bat like Rooker on paper, you gotta take it...
