7It be impossible for Cleveland to say no here...
Rays say no. Both Cleveland players stink. No team is trading a draft pick or premium prospect for either (or both) players.
It's just always felt to me like Arias is destined to be a Ray but who knows. This would obviously hinge on the Rays seeing something in Arias.
Cleveland would swap Arias for that comp pick... I also do not like Watson as a prospect so I'd gladly move him for that price... Arias though at the end of spring may be traded if he doesn't earn a spot...
Watson is still intriguing to me just because he's still so young... Kids 21 and has already put together a solid season at AA. Athletic enough to play CF, he'll be in the big leagues at some point.
I just don't like his game... He's a .700 OPS guy in the lower minors with a SO rate of 30% in 24 at AA... I feel like he is worth more in a trade than keeping personally especially if we can get someone back for that value...
