1Rosenthal has said there are rumblings of a trade of Tucker to the Cubs for Seiya Suzuki and Isaac Parades, but the Cubs may need to add a prospect to even things out. Cam Smith should not be considered in this deal if the Cubs are shipping out their starting 3B in Paredes. Canario has a ton of power, hasn’t really been given a chance at the majors, and is out of options. I suspect Jed and the Cubs value Suzuki much higher than 1.2, so the prospect needed to finish the deal probably isn’t a top 100 guy. Canario makes this deal even Steven with BBTV model. Just my two cents.
