4As a Yankee fan I like the idea of getting Belly. Can fill 1B or if they don’t get Soto, play CF and allow Judge to move back to RF full time. If they get Soto, he could play LF and they could trade Dominguez for a stud pitcher.
For one thing, Kyle Carr is "age 0" so I guess he's still in the womb. Secondly, I don't think the Cubs will pay Belli $15m to play for someone next year if they don't get immediate big league help back in return. Down vote.
Problem is nobody is trading for him unless they eat about half the contract. Cubs pretty much announced they want him off the roster.
The major league help they’d get in return would the guys they add using Belli’s salary relief
