7The second time I liked a three team proposal. Well done!
Reds get legit bats to compete immediately in positions of need. White Sox get some top level prospects to help their rebuild as they aren't competing anytime soon. Phillies get another ace on their staff. Phillies may need to send cash or a low level prospect guy to the Sox to make it a little more even.
This is a very well thought-out trade proposal. Makes sense to me all the way around.
with news today that the Reds might be in on Crochet I just don't think they want the Roberts side of this deal? Fair trade just don't like the gamble on the Reds side. They will go to FAs for their OF needs
I think it’s a roll of the dice for the Reds, they should pass, Roberts could be gone in a year and Bohm could regress, keep the youngsters.
Luis Robert isn't a FA until 2028 potentially, he has club options in the next two seasons.
Yes, I know, at $20m per, that’s why he could be gone in a year. $20m could be reasonable or maybe even a bargain, but trending down I think, so it’s a roll of the dice I think. I feel the same about Bohm. I do think there’d be plenty of interest in both players at these values though and think the White Sox & Phillies should ask for more.
