I've heard that the White Sox refused to trade Erick Fedde to Cleveland last deadline, so there would need to be an Overpay to convince them to make Crochet a Guardian. I don't think DeLauter makes it because of his foot but if the White Sox love him and believe in him... they might bite.

Trust me, Cleveland isn't trading that much for Crochet... IF Cleveland trades DeLauter, it is for one reason and one reason alone... They don't think that foot will ever work properly... They plan on building around him... Don't be surprised if next season DeLauter gets a contract extension IF he's healthy this entire season...
Given DeLauter's medical history that's a rather big IF. How much doubt do they have to have in the foot before they say Yes to a White Sox team eager to give them Crochet in exchange?
A lot of doubt to be sincere... He's scheduled to make his MLB debut next season, likely in the second half... For better or for worse, he's one of their guys they plan on making a run with...
White Sox probably wouldn't want him anyways.
