4The Twins need a better defender in CF. Kepler isn't the answer, and Buxton's CF days are over. The Rays need a near MLB ready pitching prospect that doesn't need rule 5 protection, and they also get an extreme ground ball reliever to go along with their tiny minor league outfield dimensions.
Hard to see Minny trading Raya for Siri but if they are willing, then so should the Rays.

I agree with this. I don't how the league views Siri. Is he viewed as a 2-3 win prolific defender with a career 90 wRC+ bat with 3 years of cheap team control, or is he viewed as a 30 year old dickhead with the worst K rate in baseball and unless he ISOs like Juan Soto, he's completely fucking worthless. I hate the guy and want him gone. He, Morel and Caminero are thick as thieves and have zero interest in Morel and Caminero learning a fucking thing from that piece of shit. Suspended twice by the team, once by MLB last year. Get him the hell out of a Rays uniform. I wouldn't hesitate to non-tender him if they can't move him. ZiPS and Steamer think Simpson is a league average bat next year without a single AAA PA. If he can play CF without shitting himself, he's our best option in 2025 and beyond. Billy Hamilton was was a 3-4 win CF...and then he turned 28. It's time to get Simpson to the show.
