Why wouldn't they want a young catcher with upside. Jonah Heim isn't a young catcher and he might of had a career year in 2023. With the ABS coming to MLB eventually a lot of Jonah's defensive value is going to be mitigated. He had a fWAR of 4.0 in 23 and a -0.1 in 24.
