5Red Sox are likely not selling low on Casas. The Sox don't even have a back up first baseman, much less one who can start. Wildly unlikely trade.
The Reds would also be selling low on Lodolo.
I’m expecting big things from Grissom this spring, Breslow and the powers that sit at the decision making round table in Bostons front office traded SP Chris Sale for him. This just can’t turn into another Jeter Downs deal.
I have a sneaking suspicion that the Red Sox have given the 6’2” right handed Vaughn Grissom a 1B mitt for the spring as an early Christmas present.
You may absolutely be right, but the Sox can't possibly think that he of the 49 wRC+ over the last two years is good enough to start there (or likely even backup).
