A fire sale is coming to the Rays because of the damage to the Trop. This trade sends the Rays' closer to the Mets, where he can help form a great back end of the Pen for the next couple of years. The cost is a young pitcher in AA and a toolsy catcher who is several years out. I expect the Rays to trade Yandy Diaz, Brandon Lowe, Pete Fairbanks, Colin Poche, Tyler Alexander, and Garrett Cleavinger (along with nontendering or trading Dylan Carlson) this Winter. This trade just starts the ball rolling.
