LOL. Rays would never have wanted Garver anyway, but they really won’t want him now. It’s a new world for the Tampa Bay Rays and that world does not involve spending money or contending in 2025/26. Rays just lost their stadium and broadcast deal. They will be playing under Pandemic level austerity for the next 3 years. That means pre-arb and minor leaguers are who the Rays want in trade returns.. Rays say no to this trade.

I mean the reason I threw Garver in is because this was a way for the Rays to get more out of this trade and Garver is probably better than any other option the Rays have at Catcher and they still shed 10 million in this deal.
