Down vote for the A's. Vargas and Rodirguez are high-floor types and are several years out. Tidwell is an interesting arm; I thought he was a sure-fire RP when he got drafted but he's shown that he could stick in the rotation. Alex Ramirez has been spinning his wheels for a couple seasons now. Trading Rooker means taking a big step back for the A's and there's not enough ceiling here to make that worthwhile.
