This is going to sound harsh. I like Trent Harris in this trade. LOL. I have very little desire to trade Ras before the Deadline. I think he should remain in the Pen and he could net a huge return at the Deadline as a shutdown closer. I expect Yandy to be traded this Winter but I expect a better return for him than what the Giants can provide.

I like Harris a lot but I really like Arias and Ahuna, I could see them easily turning into pretty good players, Whisenhunt I think would be great for TB too, but Arias and Ahuna would be big gets to me, do you think they keep Rasmussen in the bullpen next year? I really hope not I think with his upside as a #2 starter it's worth the risk of him starting again.

When Ras first returned to pitching last year, the RFO said it was a temporary move to get him pitching again and that he would rejoin the rotation in 2025. By the EOY though, the message had changed to “we will evaluate his future in the offseason.” So I think it’s probably a slight lean to keeping him in the Pen; however, any thoughts of competing in 2025 are now fully gone because of Milton so all plans for next year have to be on the table for reconsideration.
