Brewers don’t want Williams anymore? No problem, Cubs will take him off their hands. On one condition, Brewers must take Counsell, who cost Cubs a playoff spot by repeatedly sending Neris out to blow saves, in the deal. Cubs make Steve Bartman manager, who would do a better job.
