4Assuming Nado is amenable, Cards pay $10M in '24 & $6M in '25. Bargain for the Braves and the Cards nab 2 Lotto tickets with some upside.
He's also insurance for Riley. I'm not sure what his issue is, but his hand has bothered him all season, hasn't it?
Riley was hit by a 97 mph fastball from Jack Kochanowicz of the Los Angeles Angels on Aug. 18. He was projected to miss the rest of the regular season, but there was hope if the Braves advanced deep enough into the playoffs, Riley could return. He’s still in a cast but is expected to be fully healed before spring training.
Make a nice DH in that lineup
