6If my math is right, both Martinez and Estes actually have 6 years team control remaining.
I feel like this is a deal, Cleveland has to think about, but I am not sure if Estes is someone Cleveland would specifically like for Martinez... On paper the I can understand the deal though
The values are correct as 6, but the Years column is only updated once the league makes it official. I know that's weird, but that's how we roll.
Weird, but understandable. Martinez was a no-doubt 6 year but Estes was a closer call. On a separate note... if a TBD Free Agent comes back with a Swing & Miss projection, that's the equivalent of a (probable) Milb contract, correct?
Correct. In that case they didn't meet the minimum threshold for an MLB contract.
Thank you.
