Love this trade for the Rays

Yea KC needs OFers so I thought either Misner or Carlson but he had 0 value, i also thought Misner for Waters in a swap for 2 similiar players who probably need a change of scenery to see if the new team could unlock something.
A case could be made that KC needs improvements at every position except catcher and short stop. Them making the playoffs gives me hope for the Rays next year.
I think KC going after Mead seems like a no brainer to me especially since they gave up Wallace in a trade, they have pitching and catching depth so there should be plenty of chances for them to match up.
They could really use a veteran “been to the playoffs before” presence like Y.Diaz too.
