Cubs fans - Morel is worse than advertised (and I didn’t like him to begin with) and Paredes can’t play away from the Trop. Let’s reverse this trade, but with the Rays sending Chicago Curtis Mead for the two pitching prospects that were in the original trade. Sound fair?

I think the Paredes ship has sailed, I'd rather just trade Morel for what they can get and put that fumble behind them, JC is at 3B so they'd have to block up 1B/DH with Diaz and Paredes if they don't move Diaz this offseason.
I'm cool with Paredes moving to DH.
His stat line with the Cubs is .167/.284/.275 in 36 games, I think TB acted so quickly cause they saw what was happening, plus he'll probably be nontendered anyhow, I'd rather have Mead and trade Morel for what's in the mystery box.
Paredes always played a lot better at the Trop. I don’t really care how he’s doing with the Cubs.
