Braves can't wait to sign off on this deal. Unload Murphy, pickup a fan favorite and Gold Glover in Swanson, who waives his no-trade to go back to a perennial contender. Strengthens their weakest position. Also get Adell to add depth in OF and backup Acuna. Cubs increase offense at C,SS, and DH (Trout). Pickup remainder of Trout's contract and hope he can return to health and star status. Do Angels do it? Move on from Trout and give up 2 young stars, + pay $40 million. Taillon and Wesneski stabilize the pitching staff. Murphy and Suzuki are good, but not great players. Not much salary relief until 27. But they are out from under the Trout contract. Maybe if Braves and Cubs each toss in an under the radar prospect.
