7I’m really surprised that the Pirates moved the soon to be 24yr old Priester with 2 options still remaining, 👍
Awesome trade. Breslow puts his money where his mouth is. Pirates fans should be excited about Yorke! He’s pretty good. Hope he gets a chance in the majors right away.
Pirates have given Priester every chance known to man, as a Starter and in Relief. He's lost velo and never regained it. Good kid so I hope he's able to turn it around. But it's good the Pirates sold high on him. Really excited to see Yorke with the big club.
Sensible swap, especially for the Pirates.
Sign Cora, trade for Paxton, Jansen & Priester…….more to come? I hope
He's lost his velo and is only able to try to nibble the zone. He gets hit hard.
2 players exchanged for one another that have fallen out of favor with their current club I think. Priester gets a chance to right himself with some new coaches and Yorke hopefully gets/earns an opportunity that he wasn’t going to in Boston
