BTV will be raising Aroz’s value to around 8.5 in their next update, but I would be shocked if the Rays moved him for less than $15MM (maybe even $20MM). He’s out of his early season funk and should be valued closer to his offseason value of $33MM. As for this trade, the Rays really don’t need another no-bat defensive specialist in the infield. Rays say no.
