2I don't see this as having any plus value for the Brewers. They lose one of the better SPs in baseball, one of the better relievers in baseball, their #5 prospect, plus two other relievers and Yelich. In return they save $42M over 6 years, and get Jansen plus Espinal. Berrios was horrible and wasted money. Burch is a lottery ticket. Martinez had a miserable showing at AA and the Brewers wouldn't want him. Head was awful and is a DFA candidate. This is just way, way too weak a package for what the Brewers are losing.
This is a horrible trade for Milwaukee and a fantastic trade for the Blue Jays. The Brewers get very little salary relief and and lose far too much. BJays must like his trade with all the likes he put for Milwaukee.
