Rays say Hard Pass. Folks keep trying to steal B.Lowe on BTV because his trade value is in the crapper because of the uncertainty around his back. I’ve got news for everyone, Rays aren’t trading a cost controlled 4+ fWAR player (if healthy) for the price of a 1 fWAR player. They’d rather roll the dice he recovers (and write him off if he doesn’t) because they can’t replace him on their budget (and none of the players in this trade package is going to move the needle on a team like the Rays).
