This is total BS!!! Assad just pitched another gem last night. He throws 95 mph + and has a wicked slider. He and Ragans have virtually the same WHIP and # of innings in the big leagues, except Assad's ERA is a whole point lower. Yet, look at their comparative values. Cubs have to throw in another undervalued Cubs player in Morel, who has hit 44 HR's in @700 ABs, but happens to play the same position as a Gold Glover, and, therefore DH's or plays out of position , to make this an "even" deal on paper. John, you have assured me on multiple times that your website is unbiased, and I believe you, but somebody is. Maybe you should re-evaluate your sources. Maybe one of them got turned down for a position by the CHC. It's all I can think of.

FanGraphs has Horton ranked higher than Tiedemann and Harrison in its Top Prospects 2024, but you have Horton evaluated lower. John, you're the boss. You can set the players values however you want. But I feel that Assad is way under appreciated on BTV. Guy should be 25-30, imo. Ditto for Suzuki. He's done nothing but rake since second half of last season, including this Spring. If Morel was playing second base for, say, the Marlins, what would he be? An 80-100? That's what it would take to sign him if he were a free agent for next 5 years. Doesn't feel right to designate a player as a DH only, who has a great outfield arm and can handle second base adequately.
